Basic Information

The Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland (ICCI) is one of the leading Islamic centres in Ireland, serving the Muslim community through worship, education, community engagement, and cultural outreach. Located in Dublin, the Centre is dedicated to preserving Islamic identity while promoting understanding, respect, and positive contribution within Ireland’s multicultural society.

Established with the support of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and officially opened in 1996, the ICCI has become a recognised landmark for Muslims across Ireland. The Centre’s mission is rooted in promoting Islamic values through wisdom, education, and community service, while building strong relationships with wider Irish society.

The Centre also plays an important role in dawah, interfaith dialogue, and community development, working to address misconceptions about Islam and encourage mutual understanding and cooperation. Its campus includes a mosque, library, classrooms, community hall, restaurant, shop, and educational facilities including the Muslim National School.

Today, the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland continues to serve as a spiritual, educational, and cultural hub for Muslims in Ireland while welcoming visitors and members of all communities.
